Product Owner

What does your job look like?

As a Product Owner, you act as the "champion of the product" by linking Fancom’s business objectives with customer needs.

• You consistently generate innovative ideas to enhance the customer journey, prioritizing improvements into manageable, value-adding components.
• Your strength lies in articulating your vision and providing a comprehensive roadmap for adding value to our products on short and long-term.
• Aligning the product vision with our state-of-the-art platform, you define clear requirements for features and ensure prioritization and coordination.
• You hold the final decision on feature approvals, establishing a singular point of accountability.
• Proactively identifying and mitigating risks, addressing critical challenges, and making necessary trade-offs are crucial to maintaining product development momentum.
• Actively looking for end-user feedback ensures continuous enhancement and alignment with customer desires.
• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of product managers, project manager, system architect, software developers and mechatronics engineers, ensures seamless communication and effective implementation and validation of features.
• Regular stakeholder communication, providing updates, seeking feedback, and optimizing overall product performance, is integral to your role.
